About the Program
Creating Engaging Financial Reports
Ninety-three percent of American adults have math anxiety, so is it any wonder that most people's eyes glaze over when reviewing the financial reports? We can do better.
With some small improvements, we can create financial reports that:
- Clearly communicate organizational health
- Engage board and management in making better-informed financial decisions
- Are welcoming and inclusive to most people
Participants will learn how to:
- Read a balance sheet with more confidence
- Use graphics to increase transparency and engagement
About the Speaker
Sean Hale has served nonprofits for more than twenty years. He loves getting the administrative side running smoothly so the organization can truly focus and shine. Over his career, he’s made improvements that reduced waste, generated new revenue, boosted staff productivity and morale, increased financial transparency, and shrank risk. He’s also helped boards and management to navigate complex situations and consistently left organizations stronger and ready for their next stage of growth. Now he leads a team of outstanding nonprofit accounting and finance professionals. Together, we provide temporary and ongoing services to small and mid-sized nonprofits so they can have the back-office support they need for the whole organization to flourish.
