About the Program
Every association member faces complex issues in their struggle as an employer. Workplace issues continue to be the biggest obstacles that companies face when they try to achieve their goals. Moreover, labor and employment lawsuits make up 25% of all pending federal court cases. No employer, and thus no association, can ignore workplace issues.
In this session, attendees will discover how to aid their members with workplace issues by establishing a committee to continually provide support to members, developing an education program that members will love, and encouraging member engagement on these issues.
At the end of the session, all attendees will understand how they can add value to association membership by helping their members be better employers

He has been at the forefront of labor and employment law for over forty years, including stints with the U.S. Department of Labor, the Executive Office of the President, and the National Labor Relations Board. Rick is a prolific writer who has contributed hundreds of articles to trade journals and publications on labor and employment law and conducts frequent seminars to client companies and associations across the country.
