About the Program
COVID-19 has caused all of us to talk about “adaptation.” We often think of adaptation because of a major event that demands a change in status quo. But is this how adaptation works? By delving into the lessons learned from nearly two dozen interviews with association, business, and nonprofit leaders, attendees will discover what important changes were made before the pandemic hit that allowed some organizations to thrive in difficult times.
This session will be an examination of technology, leadership, and culture as we all start thinking about the post-COVID world.
About the Speaker
Dallas Emerson is a nerd. A big one. With front-line experience from years of providing associations with IT management, Dallas speaks about developing long term technology plans and facing down immediate crises. Experienced in technical training and strategic planning, Dallas’ goal is to deliver jargon-free, engaging technology discussions. His mission is to empower leaders lacking in knowledge or confidence about tech issues to make wise decisions and see through the myriad of technical nonsense thrown at them every day. He’s a news junkie who loves gadgets and history, hates social media, and relishes a good cup of coffee.
Learn @ Lunch is a quick and easy way to get education and networking with little interruption to your work week. Bring your lunch, meet with your peers and learn about some of today's hottest association topics from a speaker or in an idea-sharing setting while you eat. (Includes 1 CAE hour)
