At the Texas Society of Association Executives, we accept educational session proposals throughout the year leading up to conferences, seminars, webinars, or other education-focused events for association professionals.

2023 TSAE EVENTS

New Ideas Annual Conference

September 24-26; Fort Worth, TX

TSAE’s signature event brings together association executives and suppliers from all aspects of association management. This three-day conference, which alternates location every year, provides over 20 breakout sessions and up to three (3) keynotes on a broad range of topics covering interest areas for all types of association professionals including those in the C-Suite, Education & Meetings, Membership, Marketing/Communications, Business Development, and Government Relations.

Women's Summit

February 21-22, 2023; College Station, TX

The TSAE Women’s Summit convenes women leaders and allies to network, inspire one another and strengthen peer support and camaraderie. Session topics range from mentoring, coaching, to health and wellness and career advancement.

Learn @ Lunch

8-10/year; Austin, Houston and North Texas

Learn@Lunch sessions are one-hour education sessions held in various months throughout the year.

Webinars

2-4/month

In partnership with Association Societies Alliance, TSAE offers live and on-demand webinars to our members. Webinars range in topics covering interest areas for all types of association professionals including COOs, CFOs, administrative managers, educational coordinators, meeting planners, communication/marketing directors among other professionals working in large, medium, and small-staffed associations based all over the US.

 

Session Format & Additional Submission Tips

TSAE prefers sessions that engage the audience to participate in large or small group discussions and create an environment that promotes networking and peer learning and critical thinking. Session speakers will be more successful embed learning activities or workshop-style practices into their sessions. Other formats may include panel or interview style discussions, facilitated roundtable with structured discussion or other innovative approach. We acknowledge lecture style sessions may be appropriate for some content.

Affiliates and vendors are strongly encouraged to co-present with an association professional who can provide direct knowledge of service, product. Content needs to be educational in nature. Sales pitches are not allowed.

 

Submission Deadlines

Session proposals to be considered for 2023 must be submitted by December 1, 2022.
