About the Supply Drive:
This year we’ll be raising art supplies for Sammy’s House, an Austin nonprofit that provides services for children with and without special needs.
Sammy's House uses art to help move children out of trauma and into a childhood that is filled with beauty. Any type of art supplies are appreciate, bu especially construction paper, gallons of washable tempera paint (in every color), play dough and glue. There are endless items available from pom-pom balls to stencils. If you can create out of it, they can use it!
The materials will be shared with their early childhood program, crisis care program and summer camps. Discount School Supplies are very affordable and have an array of options. Should you wish to order off this website, you can have the supplies shipped directly to Sammy's House or bring them to the event.
About the Entertainment:
While they're no strangers to small-town honky-tonks and dancehalls, Mayeux and Broussard play with a gritty intensity that makes them stand out like a sore thumb from most of the Texas country music scene.
