Virtual Events Evolved: Engaging Members on Their Time
Meeting online might seem like a relic of the COVID days, but now more than ever, virtual events offer your members the opportunity to take part in professional learning on their own schedules. Learn tips and tricks for implementing successful virtual events, organizing your planning for maximum efficiency, setting the tone and creating connections despite being apart, and embracing creativity and flexibility as you stretch your thinking about how virtual content can be presented in this Learn@Lunch session. Drawing on one organization’s experience creating new virtual events (and adapting longtime online meetings) for its members across the nation, this session will also provide attendees with ready-to-use tools to help with planning and attendee engagement.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explore engagement strategies for attendees and speakers at virtual events.
  • Examine and walk away with multiple ready-to-use organization and communication tools to help them improve their virtual event planning efficiency.
  • Practice flexibly and creatively thinking about standard virtual event plans and limitations of LMS/platform capability
