This CEO Breakfast at the Fairmont Austin, part of the CEO Strategies program, will explore the role of the Board and provide best practices for keeping members interested and engaged in the work, but out of the day to day operations of staff. The session will cover effective meeting structure, staff reports to the Board, committee structure, board orientation, board composition and leveraging their influence. Participants should be prepared to share their Board practices with each other and to engage in a panel discussion with CEOs.
